Hmmm, I went ahead and ran the live cd (it had 8.04 on it) and at the partitioning section chose to reduce the NTFS volume by 50GB. It worked away for 20 minutes or so (progress bar stayed at 0% the whole time) and finally gave me an error message - something along the lines of "could not complete operation." Luckily no data appears to have been lost in the process.
Does anybody know of another partitioning utility that could safely help me redistribute the space on my NTFS partition to my ext3 partition? Thanks for the help :) On Wed, Nov 12, 2008 at 6:48 AM, Christopher Stamper < [EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > On Wed, Nov 12, 2008 at 8:44 AM, David Robinson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>wrote: > >> I unmounted it, yes.
