if you want the disable compiz for wine specifically just run "winecfg" from
a terminal, and in the graphics tab, disable the 2 options "allow the window
manager to decorate the windows" and allow the window manager to control the
windows, also I think you should disable "emulate a virtual desktop" too,
anyway, there's always a linux version of google earth if that's only what u
need, and it should be better than running the win version on wine
