Hello, I installed kubuntu on my old Sony Vaio PCG-SR7K. I don't have a CDROM, so to install I removed hard drive, connected it to my desktop, installed Kubunto 8.1 and removed HD to a laptop. It works, but it does not recognizes my PCMCIA wireles card or my network card - so I have no internet access. To fix the problem I need to install some utilities - but how to install it without the internet access? My installation CDROM does not have the system utilities. What I need is utilities that show existing hardware. My plan is to load these utlilities to USB drive and to install it from the USB drive - but where are these utilities located?
