You've obviously got some kind of a backup application running in the background on a daily basis. Check cron to see what is running and when you find out, read up the man or info pages to see whether it is safe to delete the older archives.
As for tune2fs -m 0 /dev/sda1, I wouldn't leave yourself set up like that for long, and DON'T crash!
