I'm running Ubuntu intrepid in a OpenVZ container. I get this message from Anacron
"Subject: Anacron job 'cron.daily' on izvinite /etc/cron.daily/sysklogd: /etc/init.d/sysklogd: 154: cannot open /dev/console: Permission denied /etc/init.d/sysklogd: 154: cannot open /dev/console: Permission denied" ls -l /dev/console: "crw------- 1 root tty 5, 1 Nov 20 20:09 /dev/console" I've been looking at /etc/init.d/sysklogd, /etc/cron.daily/sysklogd and /etc/syslog.conf, but I can't find anywhere to turn off output to / dev/console. Any ideas? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ubuntu Linux" group.
