Hi Richard,
The only 'proper' answer will be to say this will all depend on HD
speed, and processing speed. As well as "expected" performance. Will
this be a server? If so RAID will have a greater response if the other
conditions are within rage. As a DT (Desk Top) no, your performance is
really not going to be noticeable.
