as-salamu alaykom,
1. I think thwab should be in Main software category, as it will be
mainly used for islamic books study.
2. There is a package called bicon for arabic support in console,
which is better than acon in:
* Support for different console resolutions, while acon only works
till 800x600 resolutions, for higher resolutions, things look
awkward.
* Also works in xterm, gnome-terminal,... While acon only works in
virtual console.
* Some acon functionality doesn't work anymore !
You can get the source package from:
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/b/bicon
3. Please used the latest version of acon (1.0.5-7), as it got
security patches: http://packages.debian.org/sid/acon
Better yet, Ubuntu does have a package for arabic language support:
language-support-ar, that will bring in arabic fonts, arabic
translations & other stuff.
Also there is: language-support-extra-ar, which will bring in acon &
itools.
Btw, what is the package name for ubuntu tweak ? I cannot find it in
Ubuntu repositories.
