do you have the latest version installed? There has been a new release today.
The problems you are reporting should be solved with the latest updates. To be
sure, restart your computer after the updates were installed.

Hi, I checked for the updates, installed them, restarted using the
restart button, still had the red x against the icon. Tried to
completely switch off the computer and start it, and I still get the red
x. Dont know why it wont work. Is it possible its because I am still
using 9.04? Havent worked out how to upgrade to Karmic yet.
