I'm not sure I can articulate how much I dislike this idea. The android is an internet phone. I'm sensitive to the fact that not everyone can have "unlimited" data plans (not even those of us with unlimited plans have unlimited plans), but giving users a false sense of security by saying 'you've only synced 1 MB in U1' is not a good idea. This should be a separate system level app and several already exist. [1] Best practice seems to be a warning/disclaimer the first time you run the app saying that the user is responsible for data chargers, blah, blah, blah. Maybe I hate users or something, I dont know. I just think this is better implemented elsewhere. U1fA should stick to U1. IMHO.
