Title: Mime-database isn't updated during install Status in “scribus” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Binary package hint: scribus Ubuntu 8.04, scribus 1.3.3.11 Scribus-files can't be associated with scribus because Nautilus treats them as ordinary text-files. Under /usr/share/mime/packages is a file called scribus.xml that provides all the necessary information. So you have to update the mime-database by hand and have to restart the X-server in order to get things work. i think this should be done during install.
