There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. Furthermore, Lucid reached EOL on 2013-05-03. At the same time, I also updated the version of Scribus to 1.3.3.13svn. Since then I have had 2 problems with printing from Scribus: 1. Not all the information on the Scribus page is printed - I am losing the top 2 cm of text, presumably because Ubuntu has pre-set margins for the printer? I can find nothing in the Ubuntu set-up that will allow me to re-set the top margin. I need the top margin to be close to the top edge of the page because it is a publishing programme, and need to be able to use all the space on the page. 2. When I print a single page, 4 pages are processed by the printer instead of one, with the last 3 pages being blank. This is despite the setting of copies at '1'. My printer is a Brother MFC-7420. I had none of these problems with the previous version of both Ubuntu or Scribus. I hope you can help.
