Argyll version 1.7.0+repack-2 which presumably includes this fix is available in Ubuntu Wily. Status in argyll package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: In chartread (printer calibration tool) I'm not able to read any color strip using the ColorMunki instrument. This is the same bug as reported in Debian (https://bugs.debian.org /cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=720328, see there for the description of the problem). A patch is attached that fixes the problem. This patch is a backport of the native usb driver from Argyll 1.7.0beta. Anyway, I only tested this patch with the ColorMunki instrument and I don't know if it works with other instruments.
