Same. I always face this when I split a clip in two, remove the left one and attempt to drag the right one to the left.

Matching subscriptions: Ubuntu Studio Bugs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1254558 Title: Clips will move vertically, but cannot be dragged left or right Status in openshot package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: This may be related to a shortage of memory resources; the clip is cut and the clips before and aft are removed, but the clip will not budget from that spot in the timeline. It can be moved to other tracks, but not forward or back in time. A work-around is to use the shift feature and estimate the number of seconds to move the clip positive or negative.
