that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some

When I start blender it crashes after a few seconds, throwing me back
to the login screen. Starting blender from a terminal gives me no
clues as well as the system logs me out right away.
After logging in again dmesg shows: [ 1126.943827] blender-bin[4386]:
segfault at 0 ip 00007f3353ecf8d3 sp 00007fff226ae4c0 error 4 in
i965_dri.so[7f3353eb3000+286000]
Already tried to:
reinstall blender --> no effect
deleting .blender folder --> no effect
