Title: Application is unusable without python bindings for libappindicator Status in gtk-recordmydesktop package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Dear All, This application is unusable without python bindings for libappindicator (python-appindicator). Please make this a dependency and not just a suggestion. Without python-appindicator, when you start to record the desktop the application simply disappears and you cannot control it. Lost an hour trying to discover why the tray icon was not working with it. All the best.
