Status in ardour package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Wiimote as a controller in Ardour is broken because Ubuntu (and probably debian) have other newer ways of dealing with a wiimote controller (it ends up in /dev/input/). The wiimote code is considered no longer used by the Ardour developers and so Ardour should be compiled for Ubuntu with Wiimote turned off. (Ardour ships from ardour.org with Wiimote support turned off) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 16.04 Package: ardour 1:4.6~dfsg-1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.4.0-21.37-lowlatency 4.4.6 Uname: Linux 4.4.0-21-lowlatency x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.1-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: XFCE Date: Wed Apr 20 10:45:16 2016 InstallationDate: Installed on 2016-04-20 (0 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu-Studio 16.04 LTS "Xenial Xerus" - Release amd64 (20160419) SourcePackage: ardour UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ardour/+bug/1572681/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntustudio-bugs Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntustudio-bugs More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
