Bug description:
  I tried this with the official version, and also a development
  version.

  Apparently, Inkscape is still making menu droppings on the Win32 version.
  It seems to work until you click on the restore/maximize button, resizing the 
window to full screen.
  Then selecting something such as document preferences makes quite a mess.

  [I realize that netbooks are small screens, but at the same time,
  there were more sold in the last quarter than most other computers--
  combined.]
