Status in lyx package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I'm doing a lot of thermo and calculus homework in Lyx. Lyx sometimes gets into a state where it silently refuses to generate PDFs, with no meaningful error message. I can sometimes generate the PDF by opening a new document, pasting contents, and generating immediately. If that new document is saved and re-opened, the error happens again. I'll upload a progress log demonstrating the error separately.
