Live session requires a login on Cosmic beta

Bug description:
This could be related to other issues we're having with the beta
images (e.g. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity-
slideshow-ubuntu/+bug/1794822) but...
Doing the ISO testing, I booted the image in VirtualBox, got the boot
menu, selected Try and then Ubuntu Studio started.
I was presented with a login screen. I had to enter the username
ubuntu-studio and a blank password to log in, and then I could
continue the ISO testing.
