Shows fix released in Debian, but I'm not finding it in Ubuntu's repos.
Is this project even still a thing considering all of the work @falk-t-j
has put into Carla (which we're actively working on getting into
Ubuntu)?

  FST is a program by which uses Wine, Jack and Steinberg's VST Audio

  FST was written by Torben Hohn and Paul Davis, with inspiration from
  Kjetil Mattheussen.
