Title:
  lubuntu jammy bug exploration failed

Status in calamares package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
(( attempt to use `ubuntu-bug calamares` failed. problem relating to
`ubuntu-bug` (originally noted here) is filed at
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/apport/+bug/1959866 and doesn't relate to
  this issue. ))

The purpose of this install; calamares crashed.
issue reminded me of SQUASHFS errors; but not are found in logs

Purpose of install was to explore
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calamares/+bug/1959724

I didn't try and mimic that install; just used a testcase (install
using existing partition) I do regularly (yesterday being last) and
expect no issues; BUT TODAY it included ENCRYPTION.

  ** testcase

earlier today a FOCAL.4 install was made to
  - hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 5gb, nvidia quadro nvs 290)
it was a full disk instal **WITH** encryption.

that install was perfect (of course); I'd added music to the ~/Music
folder (added post-QA-install test) & so as to play that I added
  `clementine` (again added post-QA-install test; a non-standard package
  being the aim).

this was manual partitioning install, re-using that partition
  **WITHOUT** format.

  If encryption was not involved I'm 100% convinced install would work;
this issue is related I believe to the encryption..

IF IT IS related to encryption; I don't think this type of 'upgrade
via reinstall' needs be supported anyway; I'm happy for it to only
support unencrypted disks, HOWEVER I have used this install before
with Xubuntu and/or `ubiquity` without issue though that was NOT a
calamares/install encrypted disk (encryption being setup by a prior
  ubiquity install)

  ** ACTUAL ERROR

  2022-02-03 - 18:19:36 [6]: void Config::doRestart(bool)

  from session.log

I'm not convinced this is a real issue, at most it related to the
issue/reason I was trying this install, and it doesn't worry me if
this type of install isn't supported - my exploration of it was only
  due to filed bug.
