Hi Cristian! There's a very clear possibility that blender is not yet built with Wayland support (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1033199), but that bug references an old version.
I think the best thing here is to report it upstream since this is a package that is synced unmodified from Debian. You can find information on how to do that here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Debian/Bugs. Once you've done that, link the Debian bug here in a comment so it can be tracked. The reality is that this might not get fixed until 25.04 is released, but the good news is that you've found a workaround (run in X11), albiet a rather inconvenient one.
