The PiTiVi devs can only afford to investigate bugs that are
reproducible on the latest PiTiVi release or the development (git)
version. Your problem may have been fixed in either of those versions,
and, as such, will be marked as obsolete. If you can still reproduce
this problem on these versions, you are encouraged to file a bug
upstream (see http://www.pitivi.org/?go=bugs).

Here the error message on my sony laptop with ubuntu gutsy i386 :
esdsink.c(263):gst_esdsink_open():/bin1esdsink0:
can't open connection to esound server
Pitivi can not connect to the sound server, so impossible to work on a simple
video with sound. I have the same problem on ubuntu gutsy amd64, but without
the error message : no sound.
