Dear friends,
I am a new student and I will join Cambridge this fall. Right now I have a
tourist visa to UK so I can move to UK from France in August, but I also need
to apply for a UK student visa in order to study there. Since I do not have
enough time to apply for the visa in Paris (my visitor visa in France will
expire soon), and I want to see if there is some way not to fly back to China
for this student visa (I just came back from China so it is too costly for me
to go back again). I want to ask if it is possible to apply for a UK student
visa while I stay in UK as a tourist, or apply it from some other country in
Europe as a tourist. If someone has done so please help me out. Thanks very
