To members of the society,

My name is Peter Crosthwaite and I am a Ph.D. research looking at Chinese
narratives. I have 7 recordings of under 3 mins each of Mandarin Chinese on
Mp3 and I really need someone to write down (in Chinese) what is said (in
MS word, not PinYin, just the characters).

I don't have any money to fund dictation as it is just a pilot project at
the moment, but I thought if people could volunteer to take a few minutes
to write just ONE recording each, and I got 7 volunteers, then I could have
these recordings written in no time!

I will do the translations and PinYin conversion, all you have to do is
write the Chinese... If anyone is interested in volunteering, could you
please send me an e-mail and I will send you an MP3 file?

Thanks so much in advance,

Peter Crosthwaite
