Dear all,
CMHA and V-Cashpoint together are holding a FREE 5-a-side indoor football
tournament for people who are over 16 year olds.
The aim of the event is to create an opportunity for British Born Chinese
(BBC) and Chinese overseas students to participate in a sporting event
together to confront and overcome their language and cultural challenges,
inhibiting friendships and embracing the spirit of the coming 2012 Olympic
Games.
Workshop Training Sessions:
Our qualified FA Football Coaches will offer professional training sessions
to improve the way you play.
Location: Power League, Canary Wharf
Date and Time: Saturday 19th and Saturday 26th February 2011, 12:30pm – 3pm
Tournament:
After a couple of training sessions, it is time to put your skills to the
test with a 5 a side tournament.
Location: Power League Indoor Football Pitch, Old Street
Date and Time: Saturday 12th March 2011, 2:00pm – 4:30pm
Awards:
An award ceremony will be held after the tournament.
There will be trophies for the champion and runner-up of the tournament,
also a golden boot for the top scorer.
But in our eyes if you participate, you are a winner which is why we will be
giving a medal to everyone!
*We will be providing energy drinks and refreshments to participants.
*Please bring your own trainers/astro boots (NO Blades or Studs), Shin pads,
Shorts and Football tops.

know:
Your Team’s name, Your Captains name, 4 other players plus 1 subs name;
***You must all wear the same colour top on the day of the tournament***
If you don’t have preset teams we can allocate you team members on the day.
