Dear UCAM-CSSA,

First I would like to thank everyone for the unprecedented levels of
support I received for my first request for help. I am very grateful to the
society for this!

I have composed a short survey continuing on from my previous research into
Chinese and Korean narratives, and this survey focuses on levels of
linguistic politeness/respect/honor/deference and how it is encoded within
Chinese and Korean.

I am interested to see how you would rate the 16 characters shown in the
pictures on this survey in terms of how your language might encode
politeness/respect, from very informal to very formal.

The survey link is here, and should take only 2-3 minutes to complete.

Apart from the stars, please write the answer to the question
'__(Character)__, did you have a nice meal?' IN YOUR NATIVE LANGUAGE
(MANDARIN CHINESE)

I very much look forward to seeing your responses!

College).
