Kart racing or karting is a variant of open-wheel motor sport with small,
open, four-wheeled vehicles called karts, go-karts, or gearbox/shifter karts
depending on the design. They are usually raced on scaled-down
circuits<http://../wiki/Kart_circuits>.
Karting is commonly perceived as a leisure game for energetic travellers.
There will be a Karting Open Grand Prix in the afternoon of Sunday 20th
March at Letchworth. The format of the race will be a mini Open Grand Prix,
including Practice laps, 5 heats per driver, plus grand final for top 8
drivers. Trophies & medals will be presented to the top 3 drivers! Wow!
Everyone will get his/her lap time print outs as a souvenir and there is
free parking available. All events include racesuits, helmets, safety
briefing, practice laps and prizes for the winners.

We have agreed for a special price @ £31.95 per person compared to the
normal price @ £46.95 per person, on provision of NUS card.
The number of people shown on the above website is only provisional and we
can accept 30 drivers maximum for this Open Grand Prix.
We shall meet at the Cambridge Railway Station at 10:30am on Sunday 20th
March and will take the 10:55am train together to Letchworth Garden
City. Please arrive punctually. The return train ticket price is £5.60 for
young person's card holders. It is advised to get your own train tickets in
advance online at this website http://www.firstcapitalconnect.co.uk/
For the moment, the booking is not yet confirmed until we have paid them in
full. Thus, we would urge everyone who would like to attend this Grand Prix
to transfer the amount of £31.95 per person to the following bank account:

You shall receive an acknowledgement about the payment and confirmation of
your place within 2 working days of the payment. This payment is
subsequently transferred to Teamworks Karting and is non-runfundable.
The deadline for payment is Wednesday 16th March. Later payment will not be
accepted and shall be refunded.
Notice: All drivers must be over 140cm and less than 190cm to race and
weighs less than 100 Kg. Alcohol must NOT be consumed before the race.
