1. CSSA Lift & Ents is very excited to launch a series of interesting and
inspiring seminars held by our students. This is a great opportunity to
share our knowledge and passion as a community. If you are an expert on
anything, no matter how trivial or eccentric your interest is, come to take
the stage and share it with us!
This week ---- Featuring our very first seminar ‘ The Secrets of Stars’. All
welcome!!
Since the start of human history, our ancestors are intrigued by the stars
from the outer space. Those twinkling friends have accompanied us for
thousands of years, but today people can hardly point out whichever
constellation is on a clear sky. This seminar is just made to let the
audiences get a general understanding of what a “starry night” is and to
explain some of the basic ideas in Astronomy. Also there will be a brief
introduction of a different constellation system, the Chinese “XinXiu(星宿)”.
After the seminar, we will walk into the dark and wild, to look into the sky
and find our star friends.

2. CSSA Life and Ents Recruiting New Members
CSSA Life and Ents is going to present you with more events this term. The
events include: 1) Formals; 2) Movie Nights; 3) Karaoke Nights; 4) Spring
Tour (春游); 5) Museum Tour; 6) College Tour; 7) Weekly Discussion Group; 8)
May Ball and so on.
To fulfill our needs of organizing these events, CSSA Life and Ents Division
is now recruiting new energetic members. If you are interested in any of
those events, and would like to work with a very friendly and efficient
