He is currently the Deputy Director of Counselors’ Office of the State Council, People’s Republic of China. The Counselors’ Office of the State Council is the consultative organization directly under the State Council. Counselors of the State Council are appointed by the Premier. Many of them are democratic parties’ members, non-party personages, well-known experts and scholars, and public figures who have high reputation and great influence in China. The basic responsibilities of counselors are: participating in and commenting on state affairs, offering advice, proposals and consultation on important issues of the State, engaging in the united front work, and promoting friendship. 陈鹤良 1982年北京大学中文系新闻专业毕业,1995年6月任国务院参事室副主任,1995年7月任党组成员。2001年2月起兼任国务院参事室机关党委书记。 国务院参事室是政府决策的智力支持机构。参事们由国务院总理聘任,皆为有德、有才、有望之士,其中不少是中国各民主党派人士、无党派人士以及著名专家学者。参事参与政府工作的基本职责是:参政议政、建言献策、咨询国是、统战联谊。政府参事不代表任何党派,不代表部门利益,以“直通车”方式直接向国务院总理和国务院其他领导人反映情况,提出意见和建议。 http://www.counsellor.gov.cn/content/node_101.htm SHU Yi Manchu, son of Lao She (SHU Qingchun), who is one of the most significant figures of 20th Century Chinese literature. As a member of the National Committee of CPPCC, he has strived to preserve the ancient sites and cultural heritage. He is also a member of the Central Research Institute of Culture and History, and consultant of China Lao She Research Centre. He has 13 books published, including ‘My Kite’, ‘Lao She’ and ‘Borderless Love’. He is also specialized in Chinese painting. The Central Research Institute of Culture and History was established at the initiative of Mao Zedong.
