Barring any last minute crises, I will be in attendance. Given my poor track record, however, I probably can't be trusted on this matter. Games I will bring if I manage to buck the odds:
-David and Goliath: small card game about which user Clearclaw wrote: "Ultimately simple rules: Follow suit if you can. Highest card last played in or off suit wins the trick and gives that card to the player of the last played lowest card in or off suit. Suits of 2 or less cards score face value, all others are a point a card. Very much a tempo and competitive positioning game. Wonderfully counter-intuitive as good play patterns are emergent. Seems to be best with 5 though also plays well with 3. 5 gives the broad variance in card values that allow for very attentive score calculation and hand figuring mid-game, and 3 allows for delightful hand management and misdirection. 4 seems to be a slightly worst-of- both-worlds." -Pandemic, which can be a lot of fun among players of equal experience -Dominion. Is everyone burned out on this? -Santiago. Can be loads of fun with five players. I'm open to playing whatever. No, really. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "utah county boardgamers association" group.
