So, I have a few questions that I am hoping everyone can give me some input on.
Right now it looks like we have 2 options for the convention venue this year. 1. Hotel in Salt Lake City 2. Ballroom at Weber State The Weber State choice will end up being cheaper, but will have hours similar to what we have had at the U. The hotel would give us the option to have all night gaming Friday night/Saturday morning. They would also give us a group rate on rooms, so if people wanted to get a room to stay in rather than drive back and forth they could do so. Parking is also complimentary at the hotel. I don't know for sure but I assume the parking at Weber will be charged like it is at the U. Which way do you guys think works best? Is the added cost ($5-10 per ticket is my guess) worth the benefits we would have at the hotel? The second question is only about the hotel. The hotel is a little cheaper if we do this the weekend of July 4th. I have no idea if that is better or worse for people. The hotel rooms are cheaper, as is the meeting space. Would a July 4th date be better or something a little later in the month?
