Yes! Here is the run down on the night: Race for the Galaxy Jeff, Aaron, Chris, Gamer Mark, Jacob (new guy) & me. Chris blew everyone away--actually Aaron & Gamer Mark were pretty close...I wasn't. I got like 21 points and Chris had 50+ I know a lot of people like this game. It was only my 2nd time, and I guess I just don't understand how to make a civilization that can rule the cosmos. I did learn a few things about how to play (the military strategy only works if you draw the right cards...uh, military ones) but I'm afraid I will have forgot everything I learned by the next time we play it again.
Bridge Troll Gamer Mark, Jacob, Aaron & me I was doing well until I drew a hidden dragon on the last turn and got wiped out as far as being able to score one last time. Mark or Aaron took this one. The game is lite, fast-paced, and interesting enough to make it feel like strategy matters. Definitely a good purchase for lighter gamers like me, you may enjoy playing it with your family. Everyone agreed they had a good time playing. I think Jacob edged out a win here, but I can't quite remember. I started out strong, then floundered and took last place. I really like this game and will play it any time. Galaxy Trucker Gamer Mark, Jacob, Aaron & me You can see we introduced Jacob a good variety of games on his first night here--and mostly the kind I like :) I was the only one to have played it before, so it wasn't fair, but this was the only game I did well at all night!
