Tanga has budget wooden piecepack sets (no fancy box) for $17 shipped
if you order three at once.

That's a great deal, as the same laser-cut set costs $25 + shipping,
although that would include the fancy box.

If three people ordered, that would be quite the bargain.  There's a
document on BGG with the rules to 129 games.  I would guess that 15 of
those are pretty good, i.e. piecepack contest winners.

Here is some information on piecepack.  Basically, it's a game system,
and can be used to play a number of free games.  There's even a
Settlers of Catan variant.  It's great for travel and camping trips.
Some of the games combine with icehouse pyramids.

Of course, you can also print out the system for free and mount it on
cardboard!
