Well, Mark teaches creative writing, so I can say it is the most "creative" reference.
But yes, like Matt, I was scratching my head figuring out what is that reference means. Nonetheless, kidney stone is almost the worst thing to have... So my condolence to Mark, but I cannot hide my smile after learning about what that reference mean...
