You are using an incorrect comparison by implying that a war is occuring. This is more like having a McDonalds at the North end of town and deciding to build one on the south end because there is enough demand. You can still get your Big Mac - some just don't have to drive as far to eat it.
And because we made so many friends at the Northern McDonalds we are still getting our Big Macs up there on the first Friday.
