Hey Mark, This isn't about the trade, but I just wanted to get in touch with you about the Summoner Wars games that I borrowed from you. Sorry I wasn't able to make it out to the last game night. I meant to get them Matt to take up to you, but was unable to do so. My boys have really enjoyed them. For my part, I'm not a big fan of the paper boards. They're so folded up that you can never get an even playing surface and cards are sliding all over. As for gameplay, it seems to really favor the aggressor. The player who can load up his magic pile has a definite advantage. All that being said, however, my oldest has beaten me a handful of times thanks to some fortunate card draws and good rolls. The randomness of it tends to keep the game from getting too out of hand for one player over the other. All in all, a decent game, but the paper boards keep it off my wish list, but my boys just might get some of their own.
I'll be at the game night this Friday at Dragon's Keep. I'll bring them then in the hopes that you can make it and I can return them to you. Thanks for letting me borrow them.
