I do not propose it to be removed.
I want it to be explained in the comment
in the Makefile.

I looked at it and it _looks_ like it is not needed.
Actually, I still don't see why it is needed,
but I trust you. My point is, don't you think
it makes sense to prevent someone else from
thinking the same six months from now and
removing it again?
