Kindly pardon the late reply. Yes I was using the master branch. I enabled UCLIBC_HAS_ADVANCED_REALTIME in the .config. Disabling this option enables a successful build of bison but breaks other applications like psmisc and sysvinit which rely on posix_memalign.
