Hi Francesco Rendine,

Looks like your shell is not expanding the filenames properly. Are you
running under cygwin or something? If so, make sure you do the make
from within bash.

Yes, the shell is not expanding the filenames properly.

Absolutely no.My environment is Ubuntu 6.10.
I don't know because I get that error.
Is there someone that can explain to me this error?

I use ubuntu 6.10 too. You should try this:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ echo crt{i,begins}
crti crtbegins
If it is the same as mine, it's ok. I have heard that ubuntu 6.10 uses dash as default shell, and in dash, the patten above won't be expanded, and I have try this on my machine.
Maybe my system was upgraded from 6.04, so the default shell is still bash.
You can type 'bash' before compiling.
