If I select test item "9", I could hear the demo vicoe from the four ports.
But when I select the test item "7", I could hear the ring but not the voice
from peer site.

Would you try to test the item 7(Gateway and Fax Bypass Demo)? In my
Montejade demoboard with DSR 2.6.2, I found only two ports(port1 &
port2) which would get dail tone, but Montejade have four POTS ports.
The other issus is about while I dial from port1 to port2, the
connection could be established. But I can hear voice in port1 from
port2, and vice versa.
Did you select the the 4 port entry in the first selection?
