Chime in easily!

I have made my flash_eraseall use mtd-snapshot-20050217 and mips-linux-gcc
cross compiler, but I got this error message as below:
=========
# ./flash_eraseall /dev/mtd2
MTD_open
MTD_ioctl
MTD_ioctl
Invalid ioctl 80084d0b (MEMGETINFO = 40204d01)

./flash_eraseall /dev/mtd2: MTD get bad block failed: Inappropriate ioctl
for device

I don't know how to fix it.

You missed something in the kernel configuration. Did you enable the
following option?

[Memory Technology Devices (MTD)]
--> Direct char device access to MTD devices?
