Hi,

I am sending request first time to this forum.

I am new to working with uclinux OS. I like to clarify my
doubts with you.

I have installed the LxNETES (uclinux) on top of the SUSE
10.1 linux. The target I am using is Digi Connect development board with
Net silicon processor and ARM7TDMI architecture. I like to know about
"loading the modules into the kernel or loading the modules as lodable
modules in the uclinux kernel." Please give me the brief procedure
about this topic.

As I tired to build the kernel modules it is giving the
error as "need to create the initial ramdisk now". Because boot up
kernel version is suse linux kernel 2.6.18.3-4-default on top of that I
installed the uclinux. I am using arm-elf-gcc as the cross compiler for
this OS. So that it is giving the error message as create the initial
ram disk now.

What I am thinking is we can't even build the modules in the
host machine? After putting the kernel and module into the target then
only it will work? Is it so?

I like to get the help on this.

Looking forward for help.

Its an urgent.
