Hi Matt,

Thanks for your suggestion.  I looked at the LTIB tool, but I believe I
couldn't get it to actually work, and the straight uClinux approach did
- at least, until this!  I'll look into either trying it again, or
perhaps just taking the stuff as you suggest.

One point of clarification for me: does it build the host GDB too? 
Sorry if I'm a bit naive here...
