Those patches are somewhat dated now.
I would suggest working with the latest uClinux-dist, which has
those patches integrated in a more modern kernel. I don't know
for sure if the ARM/946E-S support works in 20070130 - but
you can compile for targets line GDB/ARMulator and that works.

When I run the patch I get this:

Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?
