That's odd. Sorry to ask what's probably a patronising question,
but are you sure this is also the binary you're running on the board?
I used the same commands as you, again with 4.1-32, and got a binary of
the same size. For reference, its md5sum is:
5a4947b1dc267e58d99f85192b383dc2 hello
And the binary works fine for me:
# /hello
Hello this is my First uClinux C++ Application
And David says it worked for him too.
