hello,everyone .
I meet a strange problem within uclinux upon ixp425 platform , I insmod all
madwifi modules for atheros chip , when I insmod 'wlan_ccmp.o' , there's such
information as below:
Using /lib/modules/2.4.31-uc0/kernel/drivers/net/wlan_ccmp.o
insmod: unresolved symbol crypto_alloc_tfm
insmod: unresolved symbol crypto_free_tfm
using
# cat /proc/ksyms |grep crypto_alloc_tfm
c00ea954 GPLONLY_crypto_alloc_tfm
# cat /proc/ksyms |grep crypto_free_tfm
c00eaa10 GPLONLY_crypto_free_tfm
why does kernel function have 'GPLONLY' in its prefix ?
in this case, I have modified wlan_ccmp .c source file from crypto_free_tfm to
GPLONLY_crypto_free_tfm ,then insmod
# insmod wlan_ccmp.o
Using wlan_ccmp.o
insmod: unresolved symbol GPLONLY_crypto_alloc_tfm
insmod: unresolved symbol GPLONLY_crypto_free_tfm
I don't know why , anybody know it and give me a little clue . Thank you in
