My reply is as following.
I commented out enable_irq() and disable_irq(), the problem went away.
Are those functions for power management only?

What hardware platform? Coldfire 5272
What network driver? Modified FEC
Is it 2.6.22-uc0, or something else? 2.6.22-uc1
Can you send the dump output?
