Also, if you're testing user mode changes only (and your user code doesn't
require being in a fixed directory), then it's easy enough to tftp/ftp
something to a RAM partition on a running board and execute it from there :)

(The same should also work for kernel modules, though it depends which paths
it goes looking for them in.  I haven't actually tried that one myself
though.)
