If you look at:
user/mysql/makefile
You will see that the romfs target does not install the binaries, so I
think you are right, we have only used it for libraries so far.
Feel free to figure out the binaries location and patch the romfs target
to install them based on config options (like other dirs). Sounds like
something we need in there ;-)
